GAIL BARKER, M.Ed., LCPC

 

Gail Barker is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Brigham Young University and her Master’s Degree from the College of Idaho.

 

Gail has worked as a professional counselor since 1992 in the Boise area. Her years of professional counseling experience include individual and family therapy in substance abuse treatments centers, school counseling since 1994 from elementary school age to high school age students including alternative school settings, teaching and facilitating parenting groups for out of control adolescents, and also some consulting. She has been involved in many community professional organizations and continues to participate in ongoing education in her field. She very much enjoys the private practice setting and working with individuals, couples and families.

Personal Interests

Gail enjoys spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. She enjoys the outdoors and likes to hike, camp, fly fish, rock hound, study family histories, and ride her Harley and dirt bike. She also loves to sew and design, read, and learn new things.
